RJ Travel started in 2008 when founder Rachel James returned from a life-changing journey through Southeast Asia and realised that most travel agencies were selling itineraries, not experiences. She set out to build something different — a team of genuine travel enthusiasts who plan every trip as if it were their own.
Over the years we've grown from a one-person operation into a close-knit team of specialists, each with deep personal knowledge of the destinations they recommend. We've collectively visited over 90 countries, and that first-hand expertise is at the heart of everything we do.
